Welcome to the Aquarium Café in Vavaú, Tonga. Since 2004 our café has been a fun and friendly place to hang out, meet new people and learn more about what to do in Vava'u, Tonga. The Aquarium Café is located at the southern end of Neiafu, on the waterfront near Fangafoa Marina. It is easily accessible by both water and land. If you are walking, we are located about a block past the large Catholic church. Look for our sign and walk down. We love greeting visitors from all around the world! All of our employees speak English and will be happy to answer any questions you have concerning your holiday in Vava'u.

We are also a great place to host a special event, whether it's a birthday party, an anniversary or even a marriage proposal. We can also cater a special event for you on your boat or anywhere in Vava'u.

Our restaurant is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and we hope you will enjoy our wide selection of beer and wine. We are a fully licensed cafe serving great breakfasts, Costa Rican coffees, lunch specials, tapas and an impressive dinner menu. Our desserts are a great way to finish a meal or as a treat in the middle of the day.

If you are arriving by boat, we have 12 moorings available for rent and we offer free wi-fi to boats anchored on one of our moorings and to those who visit the cafe.

The Aquarium Café is a great place to watch the sunset every evening and we offer happy hour prices on beer, mixed drinks and wine every day from 5 to 7pm.
